The L6561 is a Power Factor Correction (PFC) controller IC designed for use in continuous conduction mode (CCM) and transition mode (TM) PFC pre-regulators. It is designed to improve the power factor of power supplies by controlling the shape of the input current to be in phase with the input voltage.
