The SN74LS245N is an octal bus transceiver from the 74LS series of TTL logic ICs. It features eight bidirectional buffers designed specifically for asynchronous communication between data buses. The transceiver operates in both send and receive modes, allowing data transfer in both directions. The direction control input determines the direction of data flow, and the output enable input can disable the transceivers to isolate the buses.
