Description: The 4N39 is an optocoupler isolator chip designed to provide high voltage electrical isolation and signal transfer in electronic circuits. It consists of a gallium arsenide infrared LED and a silicon NPN phototransistor housed in a 6-pin DIP package. The 4N39 is ideal for applications that require high isolation voltage and reliable signal transmission, such as interfacing between different logic levels and protecting sensitive components from high voltage transients.
