The 74HCT240 is a high-speed CMOS octal buffer/line driver with inverting 3-state outputs. It features eight inverting buffers/drivers designed specifically to improve both the performance and density of 3-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented receivers and transmitters. This device has two output enable (OE) inputs, each controlling four outputs, providing the capability to drive bus lines or buffer memory address registers. The 3-state outputs allow for direct connection to bus lines in bus-organized systems. Key Features:
