The CD4098 is a CMOS dual monostable multivibrator (one-shot) designed for precision pulse generation and frequency multiplication. Each monostable multivibrator in the CD4098 can be independently configured for both positive and negative edge triggering, providing flexibility in various timing and oscillator applications.
