Description:
The PCF8574P is an 8-bit remote I/O expander for the I2C-bus interface. It allows microcontrollers or other devices with limited GPIO pins to expand their I/O capabilities using the I2C communication protocol. Each PCF8574P device provides 8-bit parallel I/O expansion with bi-directional operation and can be cascaded to provide additional I/O ports.
