Description: The ULN2804A is a high-voltage, high-current Darlington transistor array. It consists of seven NPN Darlington pairs that feature high-voltage outputs with common-cathode clamp diodes for switching inductive loads. This IC is commonly used in applications requiring high-current switching such as relays, motors, lamps, and LED displays. Key Features:
  • Seven Darlingtons per package
  • Output current: 500 mA (continuous) per channel, 600 mA (peak)
  • High-voltage outputs: 50V
  • Inputs compatible with TTL and CMOS logic
  • Common-cathode clamp diodes for inductive load driving
  • Input resistors for improved noise immunity
  • Output flyback diodes for inductive transient suppression
Technical Specifications:
  • Package Type: DIP-18
  • Output Voltage: 50V
  • Output Current (Continuous): 500 mA per channel
  • Output Current (Peak): 600 mA per channel
