The MAX707 is a microprocessor supervisory circuit that provides microprocessor reset and power failure detection to ensure reliable operation. It integrates multiple functions, including a precision voltage reference, a reset timer, and a watchdog timer, all within a compact package. The MAX707 ensures that microprocessor systems start up correctly and operate reliably by generating reset signals during power-up, power-down, and brownout conditions, as well as providing a watchdog timer to guard against system lockup.
