Description: The MOC3083 is an optocoupler designed for triggering triacs and provides electrical isolation between input and output circuits. It consists of a GaAs infrared LED optically coupled to a monolithic silicon detector performing the function of a zero voltage crossing bilateral triac driver. The MOC3083 is commonly used in applications that require interfacing logic level control signals to high voltage AC loads, ensuring safe and reliable switching. Key Features:
