Description
The Nema 17 17HS4023 is a compact “pancake” stepper motor specifically designed for use with Titan Extruders and other direct-drive extruder setups in 3D printers. Its slim 23mm body length reduces weight on the print head, making it ideal for Bowden and direct-drive configurations where every gram matters. With a standard 1.8° step angle (200 steps per revolution) and a 4-wire bipolar configuration, it delivers reliable positioning and consistent filament feeding .
Key Features
- Compact Pancake Design: 42×42×23mm body length – significantly shorter and lighter than standard Nema 17 motors
- Titan Extruder Compatible: Specifically designed for Titan and similar extruder systems
- Bipolar 4-Wire Configuration: Easy connection with standard stepper drivers (A4988, DRV8825, TMC2208)
- 1.8° Step Angle: 200 steps per revolution for precise positioning
- Low Weight: Reduces inertia on the print head for faster, more accurate extrusion
- D-Cut Shaft: 5mm diameter with flat section for secure set-screw coupling
