The 20A SCT Current Transformer Kit offers a safe, non-contact, and highly accurate solution for monitoring AC current in wires without breaking the circuit. With a split-core clamp design, this sensor simply snaps around a live or neutral wire to sense the current flowing through it.

It outputs a small AC voltage signal via a 3.5mm plug, ideal for microcontrollers or signal processing modules in energy metering, current monitoring, or over-current protection systems. Designed with safety and ease of installation in mind, it's perfect for high-voltage environments where direct electrical contact is risky.

Features

  • Non-invasive Split Core Transformer – Clamp design for easy installation without modifying wires

  • Compatible with 3.3V / 5V Microcontrollers

  • Analog Voltage Output: Easily readable by ADCs (0.2V – 2.8V)

  • High Safety: No electrical contact with AC line

  • Accurate Current Sensing: ±1% accuracy and ≤±0.2% non-linearity

  • Compact & Lightweight
